Equity Residential Ltd

letting & management consultants since 1998

Who regulates us? There is no overarching statutory regulation of private sector letting or managing agents in England but since 1 October 2014 they have been required to be members of an approved redress scheme.

In addition to being a member of an approved redress scheme we believe that our clients, whether tenant or landlord, have a right to expect a professional letting service which is why we are members of The National Approved Letting Scheme.

This scheme is an accreditation scheme for lettings and management agents offering peace of mind to landlords and tenants in knowing that they are dealing with a firm which agrees to meet defined standards of customer service, together with having in place the necessary insurances to protect clients' money plus a customer complaints procedure offering independent redress.
